My review:

This is the first book in the Worth series and in my opinion first books in any series will determine whether readers will be interested enough to look out for those following - and  'Worth the Weight' did just that. I had never read any work of Maya Jabobs but reading Worth the Weight put Maya there in my favourite authors' list.
